Now before you go sounding off on what your human likes to buy you for your business in the loo, I’m here to say what I, GiGiKatz, prefers 🙂

I’ve tried these brands and most all have failed!

  ARM & HAMMER® Multi-Cat Strength Clumping Litter (Fresh Scent)….The hammer here was my old roommate’s leave behinds….stinky!!

  Purina® Tidy Cats….mmmm not so tidy.  My human’s husband brought home two different types, one for multi-cat and the other was super odor control.  Sorry to report that neither really worked.  Not surprised that they’ve been updating their formulas (or so I’ve seen @ their site….boy how I love to play with that mouse on the desk!!). Another annoying thing about tidy cat (imo) is that the tiny particles stick to my paws and then fall off all over the house; that makes my humans sad.

  LitterClean® Triple Odor Control Cat Litter……what it really means is triple the amount it will take to soak up the meow-stink!! Again, another disappointment.  Humans can make all the fragrances to cover their smells up, why can’t they figure something out for us!! I mean, do they enjoying smelling our #1’s and #2’s? I also noticed that my humans had to do complete change outs more often when they used this brand. I did not mind but they sure looked annoyed.

So what did work finally ?

……is Fresh Step® Scoopable Cat Litter!! But before you go out and buy stock in this company just hear what I have to say, well actually read because if you tried to listen to me all you’d hear is “meowww Meow, MeeeoooW!”.  While this product has worked the best it is far from purrrrfect.  I can’t seem to get my nuggets buried very well, or not all at sometimes. Now maybe I just not very good at digging but I seem to remember my best friend Twilla ( dog rest her soul) was not very good at poop archeology either. It could be these new healthy num nums from Solid Gold they have me eating, or it could just be I do not like the feel of the litter under my paws, either way it does smell freshly and controls my “odors” the best. I also heard my humans saying this was a great bargain over at Sam’s club if you are a member.

So for now….it’s Fresh Step, tomorrow, who knows…..
